Job Responsibilities
- Lead & Deliver: Design, develop, and deploy secure, high-impact Power BI dashboards and analytics tailored for banking operations and regulatory reporting.
- Own Communication: Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams gathering requirements, defining scope, and ensuring clarity at every stage.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage onsite and offshore Power BI teams, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to best practices.
- Data Expertise: Oversee data modeling, ETL processes, and report development for complex financial and operational datasets.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure data accuracy, governance, and adherence to banking regulatory standards.
- Optimize Solutions: Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing dashboards and BI solutions for performance, reliability, and adoption.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-grade Power BI solutions, preferably within banking or financial services.
- 4+ years of recent proven leadership experience managing hybrid onsite/offshore BI teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on expertise with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and the Power Platform.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with Power Automate and API integration with BI tools.
- Understanding of banking data privacy, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Microsoft/Power BI certifications.
