Job Description

Role Description: 
Work with hybrid Infra architectures – on prem and AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
Define and analyze the architecture of On Prem Infrastructure for Applications (Network, Storage, Processing, Backup/DR etc). Defining the ‘right fit’ Architecture for Applications in AWS Cloud as per best practices and standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and provision Infrastructure on AWS Cloud as part of the onprem migration of Applications.
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure capacity planning, monitoring, upgrades, IaaC automations using Terraform, Ansible, CICD using Jenkins/Github Actions.
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
  • Solid foundation of networking.
  • Working with engineering teams to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle – Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate such as automate lifecycle activities – self-service, orchestration and provisioning, configuration management.
  • Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction.
  • Drive continuous improvement including design, and standardization of process and methodologies.
  • Assess feasibility, complexity and scope of new capabilities and solutions.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders/teams (architecture and infrastructure delivery teams) to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
  • Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools."


Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in working with hybrid Infra architectures – on prem and AWS Infrastructure set up for Applications.
