Job Description :
Must have prior experience with Workday integrations (HCM and Financial modules- both are required), and strong Workday Testing skills (regression testing, end-to end testing in Workday, etc.). This person will be a Senior/Lead/Principal level tester on the team and must be able to hit the ground running.
The client is in the advanced stages of a Workday implementation that began on April 1, 2025, with a targeted go-live date of January 1, 2027. The project has been running for approximately one year and is now approaching critical testing phases.
Scope of Implementation
- Modules: HCM, Financials, Budgeting, and UNA.
- Architecture: Minimal customizations; standardized APIs.
- Testing Tools: Utilizing tools provided by Cognizant.
- Integration: Straightforward configuration with limited complexity.
Testing Structure
- Current Phase: Preparing for End-to-End Testing, followed by Parallel Testing.
- Requirements: Contractors must have prior experience with Workday testing cycles, including:
- Developing and executing user test scripts.
- Coordinating across multiple workstreams.
- Managing parallel testing environments and validating results.
Key Considerations
- The implementation is largely standardized, reducing complexity but requiring disciplined execution of testing protocols.
- Familiarity with Workday HCM and Financials is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure testing completeness and accuracy.
