Job Description
Job Details
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, four (4) years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement or on a year-for-year basis when applicable..
Certifications:
  1. • PMP Certification
  2.  IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certification;
Required Experience:
  1. • experience managing successful, large-scale projects that include multiple diverse teams;
  2. • Experience using project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain projects
  3. •Experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules based on work breakdown structures;
  4. • Experience with PMO methodologies and documentation;
  5. • Experience in meeting facilitation and documentation;
  6. • Experience in creating and presenting internal and external status reports
  7. • Experience in risk and issue management;
  8. • Proven track record of completing project deliverables within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost, and quality;
  9. • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple project teams and meet overall objectives;
  10. •Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to project managers;
  11. • Provide effective communication and collaborative skills;
  12. • Experience in creating presentations and presenting to stakeholders;
  13. • Experience providing excellent leadership and negotiation skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base;
  •  Experience managing waterfall projects;
  •  Experience with state government projects;
  • Experience managing and reporting projects in compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.;
  •  Experience working with technical programming teams;
  •  Ability to demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude with the initiative to solve complex problems;
  •  Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders;
  •  Skills in negotiation, mediation, facilitation, and team building;
  •  Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
  •  Experience managing vendors and vendor projects
  •  Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.;
  • A team player attitude with a high-energy level and diligent work ethic; and
  •  Ability to meet or exceed deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and organize and prioritize activities.

• Develop and manage resource-loaded and leveled projects;
• Maintain project metrics in accordance with established standards;
• Establish resource performance metrics;
• Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects;
• Serve as a liaison with users;
• Provide hands-on leadership for complex pr Provide project progress reports to internal and external stakeholders as well as executive Leadership
• Manage project spending plans and resources for associated projects
• Maintain all project artifacts in accordance with Program Management Office (PMO) standards and
•other documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with Chapter 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.)
•Lead or assist in business requirement gathering sessions for Joint Application Development (JADs);
•Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and IT software developers to document business
• requirements;
• Coordinate and develop As-Is, To-Be, and other required business analysis documentation;
